Welcome to  Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air  Force  Station, Thanjavur, which   is located in sylvan surroundings, one more feather to Kendriya Vidyalaya family. The school is located in proper Thanjavur District, in the state of   Tamil Nadu. The school is located approximately 4 kms away from the New Bus  Stand, Thanjavur. The school started in the year 2007 from class I to Class VIII. In the year of 2008 Class IX has been started and X in the year 2009. The school is having Science stream in Class XI and XII.The following subjects are offered- English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science. The school is functioning in temporary structure provided by Air Force Station, Thanjavur. The sponsoring agency has handed over 9.68 Acres of land in Air Force Campus to KVS for the construction permanent building. The students of this vidyalaya have acheived excellent result in CBSE Board Examination in Class X as well as XII. This vidyalaya is receiving commendation for the same from the Commissiner, KVS, New Delhi.
